The Africa Space Economy is powered by ACCI & NASRDA. Space economy as an emerging sub-sector of global space ecosystem denotes and captures the economic benefits of a dynamic space sector and the role space can play in the socio-economic development of human society. This new subject is a growing field of application and practice in Europe, North America and many parts of Asia. Africa is however, a late starter as space economy is still a subject not yet fully appreciated and lacking requisite policy framework needed for robust facilitation and regulation of the sub-sector. It is with a view to address the yawning gap that the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) and her partners are organizing this landmark event with the following key objectives:
To provide platform for scientists in sectors that are critically reliant on space-based services and business leaders to brainstorm space economy practice and applications in Africa.
To provide investment and business opportunities for innovators, startups and investors within and outside Africa.
To create opening for expanded African involvement and partnership in global space economy operations. The Space expo will feature speakers in space and technology related fields
