A leading Space Law expert in Nigeria. He is the inspiration behind OLISA AGBAKOBA LEGAL (OAL) Space practice group and the Space Law and Arbitration Association of Nigeria.
DR. AGBAKOBA has a long history of working with Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, The Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT), The National Assembly and, in particular, The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) to help strengthen the legal, Institutional, and regulatory framework that governs Space in Nigeria.
This includes reviewing and analyzing the current space policy, harmonizing national laws with principles in international law, and ensuring all areas/aspects of space activities are covered by domestic legislation.
Dr. Agbakoba is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a life member of the body of bencher. He is the Chairman board of trustees of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). He is also a former president of the NBA. He is the senior partner and head of arbitration practice group at OLISA AGBAKOBA LEGAL.
